Ikebana classes for beginners in London

My Ikebana beginner courses are suitable for complete beginners and provide a solid foundation in basic Ikenobo Ikebana styles and techniques. You will study Moribana, Nageire and Free style, along with an introduction to Shoka in the Shoden course. You will experience using a variety of seasonal materials.

Although I am not currently running regular, weekday and Saturday classes, some of my senior students are teaching in the London area, Malaysia and Spain. I will delighted to introduce you just contact me.

For those living in and even quite far from London, I am hoping to restart two weekend intensive courses each year leading to an elementary certificate, for beginners (see opposite).  My weekend intensive Ikenobo Ikebana courses are also suitable for more advanced students.

Next courses spring & autumn:

I am taking a break from teaching regular classes. Some of my most senior students are running classes and I'll be happy to refer you to them. If you'd like me to refer you, please contact us by email.

I am planning to do one or two weekend intensive workshops, one in spring and one in autumn each year (see below). These are two-day intensive courses, ideal for people living a long distance from London and for those living in or close to London too. My intensive courses are usually fully booked a couple of months in advance and early booking is advised. To register your interest in weekend intensive courses contact us by email.

An intensive weekend course of four hours on Saturday afternoon and four hours on Sunday morning, leaving students plenty of time to travel. There are several reasonably priced hotels in the area for accommodation on Saturday night.
